In April 2013, a laboratory complex was established in Moscow – the Moscow Laboratory for Quality Control of Medicines of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Information and Methodological Center for Expertise, Accounting and Analysis of Circulation of Medical Products" of Roszdravnadzor.
The testing laboratory (center) provides the following services:
Testing the quality of medicines and excipients used for the preparation of medicines:
- medicines: substances, finished non-prepackaged medicines (angro) and finished medicines (aerosols, eye drops, granules, dragees, injectable dosage forms, capsules, ointments, infusions and decoctions, tinctures, patches, powders, syrups, suppositories, suspensions tablets, extracts, emulsions, etc.);
- medicinal plant materials;
- immunobiological medicines;
- checking the adequacy and reproducibility of methods and techniques for quality control of medicinal products included in the regulatory documentation;
Consulting services in the field of medicines circulation:
- on issues related to the development of quality control methods for medicines;
- related to the validation of medicines quality control methods;
- for the standardization of medicines, reference materials.
